About Me.
For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by the mystery of how video games work and the work that goes behind making them, that has overtime changed to a fascination with figuring out how to make video games work for myself and those I collaborate with.
My names Ryan Paterson, I'm a Games Programmer/Developer. I have a wide experience coding for any variety of features, but my biggest interest is making Character Controllers. I'm fascinated with different ways players can be granted and forbidden control in games and experimenting with how to change or enhance expectations of them.
I'm used to working as a solo developer for several projects, but find my best work comes from collaborating with other roles. I tend to get invested in what my team members are working on and often end up boosting communication and discussion as a result, due to this I've often ended up in team leader roles and been trusted to manage members in team projects.
